are all bottom brackets the same DIAMETER?

i just bought another bike and i want to convert it to electric (natch..) but i'm concerned that the bottom bracket looks to be a smaller diameter than the one i have a bbsxx installed on. i looked up sheldon brown's bb database (http://www.sheldonbrown.com/bbsize.html) and there is all kinds of info on the various lengths but no a word about the diameter of the shell (only width of the shell). this leads me to believe that the diameter is pretty much standard but i want too make sure before ordering a kit from luna. anyone out there that can point me in the right direction? the bike is a creme ristretto (cremecycles.com/creme2015/ristretto,50,pl.html) and there is nothing on their website that suggests a proprietary bb.
    thanks all!

thanks skymon and sam holton. those links set me straight. happy to see that there is not risk of the diameter being too small, and that there are easy available solutions when the BB is too large.
