Thanks for the link to download the manual on the documentation thread max_volt. I read thru it. Only things I don't understand are the eco/sport mode and the AL sensitivity. I am assuming the AL sensitivity is the auto backlight sensitivity or how dark it has to be for it to come on automatically. I have no idea what eco/sport mode does and the manual gives no explanation lol.
Thank again!!Last edited by Scott S; 10-09-2017, 09:15 PM.

I'm gonna crack open the case on my dpc14 and see if there is a jumper to turn it into an 18.
Here's a 1/2 @ss overview of the thing and the display looks blue so the eco/sport is prob horse hockey. He has no 'default mode' setting.

I doubt you are going to find a jumper or anything to turn the 14 into an 18. Has got to be different firmware/software. I think the display in the video looks blueish because the bike is not under power and nothing is lighting up around the speedo circle! Only reference in the manual about eco/sport is starting??

Ya I saw that. I don't think to many people have one of these yet. Still looks good to me. Eric from Luna claims it is the best display yet. A lot of complaints about the 750 display also. What I like about the 18 is not having to deal with codes to get 9 pas levels and the error codes are plain English etc.

Really I don't think one person complaining they can't make out the watt/ amp gauge in sunlight is a deal breaker. It responds faster than the 750 to pas changes. Claims the watt/amp meter is analog?
I am going with it. If I can't see the watt/amp gauge I will add a Batman!!
You could always have a graphics shop make you some vinyl numbers and lines going to the correct lights just big enough to see and stick em on lolLast edited by Scott S; 10-11-2017, 02:53 PM.
