You could also use the Luna adapter with a Race Face 130bcd narrow wide chainring which you give chainring choice. I’ve also used 5mm washers behind the bling ring to space is out. Throwing the chain could be caused be the chain being too long.

I was thinking of the Luna Alloy 40T or 44T to keep the gearing close to that of the Lekkie. They may have too little offset to keep your chainline happy.

...or pick a different ring, like the Luna with less offset.

hmmm spacing the lekkie ring never came to mind but thanks that would probably be the better option. Cheers (:

I'm new to this, but my first thoughts are:
Space the motor over even more with still longer bolts and more washers/spacers (probably not a good idea).
    or
Space the Lekkie ring out on the driven side.

  • 71mm bottom bracket and BBSO2 problem with mounting bolts

Hello I have a gary fisher 29er bike that i recently converted with the bbso2. Everything fit great but because the BBSO2 was designed specifically for 68mm bottom bracket and mine was 71mm, i had to find longer bolts and put spacers to make it fit. Now that's perfectly fine but I want to replace the 46t ring with a lekkie bling ring however lekkie goes a little bit deeper than the original bafang 46t ring. The problem i'm going to have is that right now it's already too close to the frame and if i put spacers between the motor and bottom bracket i will have to compensate for it on the mounting side which already has a gap that i filled with 3 washers on each bolt. Any suggestions on what i can do would be greatly appreciated. The original ring isn't that bad but it's too large and the chain would sometimes fall off. That's a big reason why i want to replace it with the lekkie one. I'll post couple pictures to show exactly what the problem is. Thanks for all the help
