    extra cable from controller

I just got around to doing a new build my 2nd. I am using the luna anniversary special.with the BBSO2. I got everything plugged in and all of a sudden I have an extra wire with a yellow 5 plug end on and no where to plug it into . I have the 4 wires coming from display 2 for brakes 1 for shifting and 1 for throttle that all lead into a cable. That makes 1 wire to plug into the controller wire #1. Then there is the battery cable another for the controller, wire #2 and one for the speedometer on the back tire wire # 3. Now there is a 4th wire coming out of the controller with a yellow 5pin connector to plug some where but I have no more cables WTF what is this one for.
I looked a my 1st build and it only had 3 cables coming out of the controller. Does any one have a clue what this guy is for. I haven't tried running the motor yet but I may go out and try it now I am at a loss Is it for a latter add on? I am confused Thanks Stu

Yeah that's for the optional gearsensor. If not used just cap it off, maybe add some dielectric in there to seal it from moisture while you're at it.
I would recommend the gearsensor though, it makes the ride remarkably more enjoyable if you shift a lot.

The gear sensor doesn't connect to the display. There is a cable coming out of the controller for the shift sensor.

Gear sensor senses cable movement and the controller kills power for a sec so you're not shifting under full power.

One splits for display, brakes, throttle
                one for power
One for speed sensor, magnet goes on a spoke, the sensor goes on the chain stay
                One for shift sensor.
