    Shifter index question

Hello, I’m hoping the collective can help me out, I’ve laced up my new Sturmey Archer Rxl-RD3 hub but I don’t like the the twist grip shifter that comes with it. I’m hoping to keep the handlebars as clean as possible and plan to mount a shifter further back on the frame. I was looking at the project 364 shifter designed to be used with a Shimano Nexus 3speed, and I was wondering if anyone knows if it would work with the cable indexing of the SA hub. Anyone have any experience with this shifter?

    thanks in advance
    Greg

Dunno - if not, maybe the SA seatpost shifter, http://www.sturmey-archer.com/en/pro...ls3x-seat-post or the stick arm, http://www.sturmey-archer.com/en/products/detail/cls3m

Thanks! I'm keeping the seatpost shifter as a backup plan. I haven’t been able to find the sa stick shifter for sale anywhere.

According to sturmey it is compatible to most front derailleure shifters. I have been using a shimano shifter on mine for two years.
the old style sturmey boxes had different pull lengths and are not compatible?
make sure to adjust to marks on chain properly. Do not ry to shift into lower gears when under power. That does not work.

Thanks! I’m going to give the 346 a shot.
