Spam filter keeps blocking my posts?

    Hello,

Lately I've been trying to respond to one of my threads, and I noticed my replies were not coming through. I've narrowed the issue down to the fact I was trying to paste a URL into my comment.

The URL is: bikesdirect .com/products/motobecane/full-suspension-mountain-bikes/hal5-hal6-geo.gif (remove the space before .com)

If I include http:// and remove the space from that URL, my comment will not go through. The same thing happens to private messages, they seem to get filtered when the content contains a URL.

Could this be a spam filter being a bit greedy? Anyway just thought you should know since it's super annoying and probably impacts others as well.

I just made a post with a link, and it worked fine....this one:

        https://electricbike.com/forum/forum...6341#post26341

So that makes 2 in a row assuming this post works. I think it's OK now?
Fabrication is fun! Build something today. Show someone. Let them help. Inspire and share. Spread the desire.

I was seeing the same thing, my posts were "unapproved", but they never got approved after a few days so I figured it was a bug.

I can get a little geeky when it come to computers. My browsers are Edge, IE, and Firefox. I won't use Google because of past issues and their business model. There is a tweak that I have used that has vastly improved my browsing experience. I don't know if it will help you out in this instance but it is a useful mod for any Windows PC

The only down side is there will be some links that are so tied up with ad click and ad double click (these are owned by google) that they won't work because this tweak will block them. Windows has a hosts file that can block unwanted websites. There are geeks out there who have compiled page after page of these websites so you don't have to do all of the work. The link I will post is like our programming thread. There are a lot of posts and there is a lot of information. Read at least 2 or 3 pages and their respective links.

Disclaimer!!!!!!! I will not be held responsible for any problems. Read about it and decide for yourself. It is like building an ebike. Warrantees are gone and you have to solve your own problems with help from the web.

It's still happening, it's definitely a spam filter of some sort, because it only happens when my post contains a URL. Understandable, but wish the UX was a little better.
