'They' Say They've Doped The Bafang Ultra

Hope this is allowed. Pretty involved discussion over on the Biktrix forum by guys who have adopted the Watt Wagon/Innotrace controller. They literally rave on about how it solves all the known issues with the Ultra. If they are half right this makes me literally lust for that kind of power delivery. Not $8k level lust for the price of a WW bike but I'd go a few bills to upgrade the Ultra powered bike I have on order to get there.

Anybody here care to prognosticate on where this is going? Seems like the future to me. Will Luna go them one better? Has Luna bowed out of all this?

I have an Innotrace on a Luna Apollo. I can tell you about it if I can get some help with my freaking Apollo battery issues. Every time I work on the bike the battery removal is a big issue. Again I am down because when connecting the battery I get a huge spark and smoke.

Holy shite! Sounds bad. Real bad. On that forum they talk of one guru they all believe in called Pushcar. Perhaps you could sus him out and he could sort your problem. I get the feeling he is a Watt Wagon man.

I guess I am uninformed/confused. I thought electricbikereview dot com was somehow connected to Biktrix. Maybe they are but on the Watt Wagon site if you click 'community' you get EBR forums. Which is either down or I have been banned. %^/ Can't get there anymore. I spelled the guys name wrong. It's PushKar. He is the founder of Watt Wagon. Is he somehow related to the Indian man who founded Biktrix? Could be. Maybe not. I'm sure many here know and I'm just a stupid noob. Oh well.

The EBR forum is back up. Guess I wasn't banned after all. Although Watt Wagon's 'community' link returned a blank white page during the same time EBR did same.

That controller is made by Innotrace in Germany.
Check the FB group "Bafang G510" Lots of people quite happy with that controller.

More efficient, almost eliminated run on and 2300W if you want. On my Apollo battery 50 miles above 20 mph is no problem. I upgrade to wireless shifting and with the smoothness it is easier keep an 80 rpm cadence I prefer everywhere.
