    Inaccurate battery percentage icon

Hi. I have 2 Luna displays for use with my BBSHD mid drive. Both units show accurate digital voltage readings for my fully charged 48v batteries. Which is somewhere around 53.5 in my case. However, the battery percentage icon will only read about 75% with a fully charged battery. Can anyone explain this situation.? I had to replace the controller on this particular BBSHD. COULD this be the issue? Thanks

as an addendum..... My oldest BBSHD controller on my recumbent always indicates an initial 100% charge on the battery icon, as well as reading 53.7v on a fully charged 48v battery. However, my upright bike with a newer BBSHD controller, always shows about 75% charge on the battery icon, despite a reading of 53.7 v on the digital display. I have switched out displays between the 750C and the DCP 18, only to have the same results. So, I'm convinced the source of the issue lies in the CONTROLLERs between my 2 BBSHD units. I've consulted Luna, and they tell me to just disregard the battery icon altogether, and simply follow the digital reading, which is always my default practice. But, it's just a little issue that gets under my skin... lol Anybody out there haveing the same issue?

I have the same issue too. 3 different age BBSHD's. I too thought it was the display at first but the issue does seem to stay with the controller. I wonder if changing the firmware would help? Get em all running the same version so they should then be the same?

The battery percentage won't work accurately unless your batteries BMS is designed to communicate with the motor controller/display.
