New shift cable for Luna BABE

Anyone know an improved 1 piece shift cable for the IGH on the BABE? There was a user who once listed a better replacement on the BABE Knowledge Base Sticky. But all discussion on the BABE's issues was scrubbed from that thread. I am having problems with drag while shifting. Need a better cable, and would like to eliminate any dirt/corrosion issues associated with the Shift Detector below the chain-stay. I don't think it is programmed to work on the BABE anyway, so why not eliminate it.

Is there a reason why any good quality inner and outer cable won't work? I've always been a fan of Jagwire. They offer seals that keep crap out of the cables where they enter and exit on exposed systems.

I haven't looked close at one those hubs for a while but I was thinking its not a standard cable.

I think any good quality shift cable & 4mm non-compression housing, like the Jagwire mentioned, will work. The bar side has the standard inline barrel, and you'll need to set the hub side cable clamp out 100/110mm, per the manual.

        Pretty typical rotary shifter setup.

Having a quality housing cutter helps.
