Wanting to buy a Besst tool to update my firmware on my X1 Luna are out of stock so I plan on getting it from Ali Express....wanting to know that if I purchase the tool that I will be able to get a username and password to login....please advise?

My X1 from 2019 was 14.4 and now it is 14.6
My 2021 X1 Galaxy came with 14.6, so need to change that one

But I did set the max to 60kph on both bikes
Have not had time to test either bike as the temps are really low here and not much interest on riding in this weather
The temp this morning here is 0 F

Tip for those of you trying to buy the BESST tool
Go to Ebay and do a search for Bafang BESST tool
Then save that search and set it so you are notified when a new listing pops up.

Create a search on Facebook market place also just in case one pops up there
Don't know if Craig's list can do the same thing?

I had a Ebay search set and I was able to snag the tool as a buy now
The guy had it listed for $150 Buy now
It was not an auction which was great.
I contacted him and asked if he would take $125 and he changed the listing for me

I managed to snag a BESST tool on Ebay last week.

I have two X1's
The original first batch from 2019 has 14.4 and over 3000 miles
My Galaxy X1 has 14.6 and around 1600 miles

I am going to update the old X1 to 14.6 as soon as I get the pwd
I have the Luna user name already from post #41 here in this thread but the pwd was deleted because of Bafang

I have a PM into Paxtana but it's Saturday and I suppose he is doing something more fun than hang out here.

Sebs post about 1.23 on Google docs only has the 3 .bin files

This thread is about m600 not ultra. But as far as I know ultra can be programmed for typical settings with a program cable and the typical bbsxx config software, however for the more in depth stuff like torque sensing that would require a whole different firmware

Hey guys, new M620 Ultra owner here. There are a LOT of things I want to change, this thing is quite clunky; start up torque is jumpy, all PAS levels are too high and time the motor runs after pedaling ceases is too long. I have the newer CANbus version with a C18 display. Will the BESST tool (with proper authorization ) all me to change any or all of these parameters (including wheel size and upper speed limit)? If not this tool, is there another way to get into the controller’s software? I actually want to make it Class 1 compliant. Thanks for any help you can suggest!!

Qusetion, when I follow the video on trying to install the 14.6 program when I try to get a local file all I get is the application files I don't get the 3 local files?

So I finally finished my dengfu e-10 build. Yesterday I started tinkering with my besst tool. My m600 has the latest 46.7 firmware. I took a while to get the software to recognise the serial number. But then I discovered I could select max speed. So I tried and was able to set it to 60kmh. I did not know it was that easy. So I uploaded it to the controller and went full throttle. I worked. But now, I would like it to go faster. Is there a way?

Paxtana, My old laptop crapped on me and I got a new one, I downloaded the besst program you had on page one of this thread but there is no offline button like the link on my old computer. It tells me that I need username, password and and Id number. Can you help me reinstall the program in my new computer and I'd prefer if it was the older one with the offline button. Thanks in advance.
