Is it possible to install a resistor (or like electronic device) to make hand throdle less snappy! Having trouble when in severe tech rocky single track.

Very difficult to answer that without knowing more about the system... if BBSxx you could just tune the controller better - never met one that couldn't be tamedComment

You can get a usb programming cable from multiple vendors for around $20 and some free PC software that will allow you to tweak several things in the controller software. Throttle is one of the things you can change.Comment

Since BBSHD, like 73Eldo mentioned, get the cable if you don't already have it. There are more than a few settings for the throttle but for"taming" it I'd make sure the Mode is set to current and then the start current should be set low - I go all the way to 1% and it makes the throttle extremely subtle coming on even in silly low gears...Comment
