I just ordered the ZTTO 12 Speed Cassette. I decided to get the 11-46 cassette. Since I never use the 1st gear on my X1 maybe a chance to finally use it. I did notice ZTTO offered a chain combo with the cassette. It was listed as a M7100 chain which I take as the Shimano M7100 chain. Question is have you consider the Shimano chain over the SRAM chain for use with the ZTTO cassette?

Hi, sorry I missed your post. Just now seeing it.
Never considered other chains. I like the SRAM chains and I have extra master links for them, so I stick with them. They work great and so I have no reason to change. :)

Hi EL34. Very informative. Given me plenty of food for thought regarding my Dengfu E10. ( similar bike, we can’t get the Luna model in Australia) Think I’ll be checking my cassette soon and look to change it out. Thanks for posting.

First ride on the new X1 last night

My old X1 has firmware 14.4
The new X1 has 14.6

I could not tell too much difference except that my old X1 cuts out at 25mph
At that point I am pedaling a 50 pound bike until I drop down below 25 mph and the motor kicks back in

The new X1 did not do that
At 28 mph the motor was still engaged on the 14.6 firmware

Riding with 3 other riders on cross bikes last night doing mostly gravel.
When we hit pavement and the speeds went up, being able to ride at 28 mph in a pace line was great.

The other difference is that I have the short crank arms on the old X1
The new bike has the stock long crank arms

I like the short crank arms better so I ordered another pair today from Luna.

Every one at the ride was spell bound by the Galaxy paint job :)
