Ebikes in the USA Now a Top Priority

President proposes purchase subsidy.Domestic politics in the USA currently know only one topic – US President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better Act.
The Verge reports that The bill may be in its final stages before approval, giving it a strong chance of landing.
The package of measures is intended to revive the economy of the world power, but in an environmentally friendly way. One of the many pieces of the puzzle is ebikes. Biden wants to promote their use in society through tax incentives. But the final decision is still up in the air.

I've read that no republicans are for it and that even if one democrat defects, it's dead. Sad state of the US. The flip side to this is that more rebates contribute to inflation, or at least that's my basic understanding of it.

Isn't there already a federal e-bike rebate in place without the passage of the BuildBackBetter bill? How much more incentive does the BBB bill add?

The US of A is nothing more than a 3rd world country, but with money. No morals, powered by greed and racism and guns.

The USA has a lot of problems. However, it has a path to fix them , if the political will exists.

I'm just an American guy that was working overseas.
I have seen elephants walking down the city street with their owners. Elephant droppings everywhere. Attracts a hoard of flies.
Saudi National Guardsmen pointed loaded rifles at the women in our Air Force jazz band during our impromptu Fat Tuesday parade because the women exposed their shoulders to the sun.
The sidewalks in Manilla are the cover for the sanitary sewer. Cracks in the sidewalk become a really big deal, and there are many of them.
In Korea, streets are so crowded in some cities that Motorcycles can legally drive the sidewalks (effin fast!).
My intent is not to bad mouth these countries I have visited (well, maybe one of them). I'm just talking about things I have seen, that fortunately, do not happen in the USA.

I don't intend to attack critics of the USA. Criticism is a vital part of the improvement process, but we only truly know about things that we have experienced ourselves.
I wish more people could see more of the world. They would appreciate the greedy USA a little more.
Yes, the USA has a lot of problems, but I prefer those problems to the problems I have seen in Asia.

You make valid observations. I travelled to Czechoslovakia in 81, when they were hardline communist still. The sights and customs were a atark contrast to the western world right across the border in Germany. However, the US bills itself as the biggest and best, which is simply not true. The room for improvement is huge.

I think each of you is somewhat right. Each country has its problems, it is possible to live in each country, but your country is the best to live in. I think that the US, or rather North America and Europe, has enormous problems at the moment. and as long as leftists rule here and there, none of the serious problems will be solved, and will even pile up and deepen. So we are waiting for wise and charismatic leaders, and maybe one who will pull people with him through his reason, law and approach to people. A man needs a fishing rod, not a fish. I believe that in a country where the wild west was captured and developed, where everyone has the roots of an emigrant, human reason will finally wake up and reason will prevail.
