It says that the Ferosafe material is weldable. That tells me it melts and an acetylene cutting torch might defeat it. Then I read http://mwa-coatings.se/wp-content/up...ROBIDE-ENG.pdf its tungsten carbide of some sort so maybe not so easily.

I wonder if there is much difference return value between regular and an E bike with that sort of attack? With a trashed frame its obviously going to be about the parts. The regular bike parts tend to be on the low end side of ebikes so the money has to come from the E parts but with with no real standard in e parts its got to be more difficult to find people that want said parts.
