Looking to buy this cheap hybrid e-bike, let me know your thoughts
Buy the best electric bikes online from Gin E-bike! Our electric bicycle selection is high-quality and energy-efficient for an eco-friendly and convenient ride.
It looks like a nice assisted bike for the power limited UK market. The fenders look sub standard for an urban bike. I would add a rack also. I'm not seeing the sidewall reflectors on the tires, or in the spokes. So I would do something about that for safety . The bike itself looks pretty good for that performance level. I would see what a better equipped bike would cost. Maybe there is a Gin2?
This is a US DIY forum mostly. So it's not too likely there will be many riders of those here. Our 750W power limit would be one reason.
If I were in London and wanted a factory ebike, I think I would be riding a Ribble. They use the Mahle X35 and they look like proper bikes with racks and full fenders. There’s a brick and mortar in Dartford if you want to test ride or run into any problems you can’t handle! The frame design on the Gin looks like an afterthought to me; just holding all the bits together without a nod to style.
