    An internal gear hub

While I have had a little success in finding a small amount on which internal gear hub's to use with electric motors, I have had no luck whatsoever about information on the sturmy archer three speed duel hub. The question is will the Sturmy Archer Duel Hub take the vigorous power output of the BBSHD?

I have one and it is the best thing I have done on the bike. All of their 3spd hubs seem to be very strong. Their dual drive will give you practically endless gear ratios just by swapping out cassettes. Go here about half way down the page for the install. http://electricbike.com/forum/forum/...-cruiser/page4

Here is a good article by our spinningmagnets. http://www.electricbike.com/mid-drive-kit-igh/ Finally an article by a guy who loves to break things. http://electricbike-blog.com/2016/01...dum-da-da-dum/ ...........calfee

I wish to thank you for the reply. I am considering getting a TerraTrike Rover and putting one on a 24 inch rim along with a BBSHD. Your reply makes this this decision much easier – thank you.

I am going to do a trike. I may start it later next year. There are a lot trikes on this site. Do a trike search and pages will come up. There was one build that I like that I thought it was a terra trike but it was a catrike instead. I liked the way the two batteries were carried. http://electricbike.com/forum/forum/...astic-commuter

I have been thinking about a trike for years but funds have been limited. The funds limitation is about to change.

Yes, the pocket Cat has a great way to carry batteries and it is a great trike in itself. However it does not have the max load that I need and it is harder to get on and off than the rover. I am a good-sized fellow and I would exceed the maximum load limit of the Cat trike, however the rover can withstand the weight. My battery is the one that attachés to the rack.
