    Bafang Assist Level question

I have 3 assist levels 3-5-9 on my 850 display.
Is assist level #1 the same on all 3 levels or does #9 have a less powerful #1 then 3 or 5?
I'm finding #1 level on "5" is a little too powerful when I'm riding with non-assisted recumbent trikes. This is all new to me and I just found instruction on the web for my panel and now making adjustments.

    Thanks,
    JU

Wow. That article is old. Essentially there are 10 PAS levels programmed. Your display can choose to use 3, 5, or 9 levels. Choosing 3 uses the 1st PAS level, the 5th, and the 9th level. Choosing 5 uses the 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9th level of PAS. I recommend choosing 9 levels when possible, though some displays will not allow 9 levels. No matter how many you choose, the first and last levels are always equivalent to levels 1 and 9. Only the middle levels change. When my c965 is set to three levels it utilizes BBSHD level 3 for PAS 1, level 5 for PAS 2 and level 9 for PAS 3

Thanks guys. Got my hands on a friends Luna "tool" and within 5 minutes had both motors configured with Assist 0 now programmed with less power then Assist 1. Runs nice.
My wife's dashboard let me expand to 9 assist levels. On mine I had to use the "tool" to give me 9 assist levels.
