Best front tire for a Montague

For fellow Montague buffs: I've got some good rides recently on my Surly "Dirt Wizard" front tire for my e Montague I carry in the plane. The other day I had a great unexpected ride up a canyon outside of Afton Wyoming, unexpected as in I didn't know there was a gravel road and such great scenery up there. 6 miles up, 6 down, and I had time to realize the Wiz has as much rubber as you can possibly fit in a Montague's fork, but due to it's tread you only ride on the center when carrying a fair bit of pressure. Aired out a bit things will change, but for gravel and paved roads the much bigger tire rode small, low drag, and skinny. This tire is the best Montague mod I've made in a while, and as soon as the snow melts I will resume my real trail riding, aired down, and am real curious to see how much extra cush it offers then the tire it replaced.
