Knowing how old your Raleigh bike is will help you be assured of its longevity and durability. The serial number is the easiest way to determine the age of your Raleigh bike and the vintage Raleigh bike value. You can refer to bike organizations like the National Cycle Club, the National Cycle Archive, etc. that can provide information about Raleigh bicycles. These institutions can help you determine the right age of your Raleigh bike. You can check for specific parts like the frame, suspension forks, and friction shifters to determine the correct age of your Raleigh bike.Last edited by Robert07; 08-29-2021, 01:37 AM.

Ya not gonn a go in the triangle on that thing. Not sure how well that rack is gonna do, hard to tell from the photos how solid it is. I would be worried if you were going to offroad it not to mention having the weight high up isn't good when you start swinging the bike around. Maybe a case where backpack battery maybe be a consideration? OR if you don't plan on banging around that hard sell that and get something a little more mellow and that has better battery mounting options? With the high demand I would assume selling a nice bike like that should not be an issue.

Raleigh Newbie
Relatively new to ebiking, but have been riding for decades. Picked up a commuter ebike last year (Raleigh Lore), and loved it. Wasn't get much use out of my downhill rig (2015 Demo8), so decided to put electrify it for some fun and maybe a bike park like Kaunga. Really no good place for the battery on that frame, so trying out the Thule rear triangle rack. Motor is a X1/Pro gen2.1 PhotoTags: None
