With that size the BBS02 should still be an option. IF going HD then get the narrow one of the 3 options.

Yes, it's that tube where the cranks are. Sounds like a standard 80mm kit will work fine for you.

Sorry for the newbie question but what bracket am I measuring? Is it where the peddle crank goes through frame?

Looks like a great candidate for conversion. I fully agree with 73Eldo on checking the BB. Pretty much everything else can be tweaked, but the BB length MUST be right.

Looks like a decent bike to start with. Its hard to tell from the angle of that pick but it looks like the chain stay doesn't kick out that far or that fast and it looks like it kicks out again back by the cassette so especially with a 3x? chain ring there you should get a reasonable fit and chain line.
How wide is the bottom bracket? The 02 only comes in the standard 68-73 width so if you are at 73 or any wider there won't be much if any room for spacers.

OK, M; good choices, I think, nice bike.
Make a drawing using measurements of your bicycle and the actual dimensions of Luna BBS02 and printout the Wolf Pack 'size outline' file.
EX BB dimension affects chainline, but likely acceptable.
I like the stock 44T CR spinning with PAS while I pedal my own cadence.

Hello from Louisville, KY !
Hello everyone. Total newbie to eBike conversions and was wanting to know what specs I need to look at first or read on my Scott Aspect 940 29r before I start ordering parts? I’m mostly wanting to use for urban streets and maybe light trails. To stay within my budget I was thinking about the Bafang BBS02 Mid Drive eBike KIT and the Luna Wolf V2 52v Battery Pack.
As far as sprocket size and other options I’m totally lost so any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
