I've had a great time with my 250w clean republic kit but it's time for an upgrade. I have some serious hills around my area and need something with hill climbing power. All roads are leading towards a mid drive. If you have experience with a mid drive and hub I would really like to hear about your experience.

My first ebike was a 250W Clean Republic Hill Topper. Like you, I thought that it was so fun, but I needed more power and speed. I am 100% sure that a Bafang BBSHD 1000W Mid Drive Kit will meet all of your expectations. You can even leave on your Hill Topper!

Thanks for the reply. I will post the upgrade here eventually. It looks like that BBSHD kit is the way to go from Luna Cycle. They recently released a hub motor that features a low gear which seems really good but with the amount of hills in my area, mid drive seems like the way to go. I checked out a post with your bike configs. Nice WORK!!!!
