2010 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Build questions

Just starting to plan my build and am struggling with wher to mount battery as the triangle space is very limited. Anyone have any experience with this build.
    thanks Christian

It may fit in the triangle. What size frame is it. Do you have a link or photo

it's a size large, I will look for a picture online or take one tomorrow, but the space is really small because of the shock. here is a link to a photo

Yes it does look small the other option is this soft pack. make up a 1 inch by 4 inch cardboard termplate. https://lunacycle.com/batteries/pack...ah-high-power/

That's an option but was hoping to have everything contained on the bike. Wanting to convert it into my surf bike with the ability to have a fun trail cruiser but I'm not sure it will work out the way I want. Maybe I will throw it up for sale and start from the beginning.

New plan is to try and mount the battery on the underside of thd downtube, I have 5" clearance, 4" which some suspension compression, between the wheel and tube or find a rear rack or have something fabricated, as I intended to use this bike to cart my 9'6 surfboard to the beach, some counterweight may be nice.

You should consider two or more minis in parallel. You would need diodes to protect the batteries from rapid equalization. http://electricbike.com/forum/forum/...d-li-ion-packs

That sounds like I might blow myself up.
