Hi, just checking in for the first time as a newbie. Installed the Luna TSDZ2 kit on my wife's bike but it is working intermittently. Connections are all checked and good but it stops working for no apparent reason. Some direction as to where I would find answers would be helpful.

Hi all, new guy here. I just installed a BBS02 on my rail trail cruiser. It's a Specialized Roll with a step thru frame. I should get the ferrules for my shifter cable so I can finish the gear shift sensor install today. After reading tons of threads I only have one question at the moment. It seems like possibly a real sore point but .... can I make my throttle be linear rather then binary without physical modification to the controller. I wish I read all this about the throttle issue before I bought this unit but it is what it is. I have the 500C display and only found the throttle issue, on / off mode, once I powered up for the first time. I did purchase the programming cable if it helps.
Thanks
Ed

Hi all!
Regards from a newbikie!
I hope I will learn a lot from you all and soon be able to buy a suitable bicycle and convert it to an Ebike. Just yesterday I bought a used Gary Fisher Soltice 20”Frame for my bike experience and may be that I find this one good for conversion.Last edited by Will Ebike; 07-20-2019, 03:47 AM.

Hi, please tell me I'm not all alone. I boughta stride 400 from pedcotect. After ten months the battery went bad. They had me send it in and said they would get back to me. Months went by with no answer. Finally I got someone they said board in battery went bad and they would have to build a new one, months went by they were very hard to reach finally got them after blowing me off a few times they said a new battery shipment was coming from overseas. It's has been over a year and they tell me the battery rack will have to be rebuilt. Now they have been bought by Life E V. and do not return my email or calls. Am I just out of luck?

Hi I’m new here,I bought the 1000w 52 v kit and installed it on my Fuji Wendigo fat tire bike. I’ve gotten almost 200 miles off road on it already. So far every thing is working great. I did have some issues with the install and the guys at Luna were very helpful and understanding. So thank you all for the help. I’ve attached some pictures hopefully they show up on here. Not sure if this is the place to ask but I installed the rat. side twist grip throttle and I was wondering if there is a way to set it to not be so sensitive. Meaning can it be adjusted to not come on immediately like a maybe so it can be turned a 1/4” before it engages thanks.

Hello all !!
I'm a newbie to the forum and to ebikes. I'm 58 with Lymes disease and looking to build an ebike out of my fat tire bike for Hunting and scouting that will include riding trails, some dirt rds, up steep hills and some riding through open woods on trails, also pull a trailer with equipment or harvested game. I feel there is allot of great knowledge in this forum to help me out with this build so expect allot of questions !!

I have a Pedego Interceptor. I have pedal assist and a full throttle. By mistake, I have been walking my bike and by accident I twisted the full throttle. I had the pedal assist in 1 so the full throttle was operable. My bike took off. The problem is me - not the bike. Is there a mechanism that goes between the handlebar grips and the throttle that would prevent my hand from slipping on to the full throttle when I am walking the bike --- just in case there is a time in the future when I fail to move the pedal assist to 0 before I start walking my bike. I hope this makes sense.

Hi all, I built a Bafang 750mid drive powered by a 17,5 v battery a little over 4 years ago . I weigh over 200 lbs but wanted a bike that was capable of doing 30mph and if ridden more conservatively would have a range of 30 miles both of which its done comfortably although I should add that there are no hills at all in Portsmouth ( UK ) where I live. This is achieved without pedalling at all as a knee problem prevents this..I absolutely love it it and for return trips of under 20 miles much prefer it to my car and have done over 5000miles of mostly 6-12 mile trips without any problems.. However a few months ago I whilst safely locked up at a town centre bike rack I came back to find the motor case was broken and the chain side outer case was in two pieces. The motor still worked but was unable to drive the bike. I can only guess that someone's pedal had smashed into it Whatever the reason I,ve had to buy a new motor and as it was almost as cheap I bought a full kit .
When I first built the kit I found that the stabilizer that came with the kit just did'nt work and the motor was rocking back and forth under any sort of load and no amount of tightening the locking ring helped. It is just too powerful so after much research I had one shipped from the USA which was costly and took a long time but worked perfectly.. Unfortunately after 4+ years it isnot going to last much longer as it was made from overly thin guage steel.so does anyone know if I can buy one in the UK. If not I shall try to get one made here at a small engineering firm but a one off will probably be quite expensive so is there anyone one else who would like one if it can be done at a reasonable price? It,s annoying that Bafang is selling these otherwise brilliant kits with a well known problem when the cure is so simple and would be no more expensive to produce.
Finally if its of any use to anyone in the UK I shall be be selling the old kit soon which is complete from the handle bar controls and computer right back to the speedo magnet on the rear wheel, the chain set and crank arms , brakes and ever single nut bolt and washerto rebuild apart from the broken case. Its all working and in good condition and would be ideal for someone who's motor has burnt out but has an intact case.
Hoping to hear from you soon
Regards
Ortactoo
