Moving on to figuring out the battery. I am thinking thinking triangle. I want to mount it as low as possible. I just need to figure out the mounts. I don't really want to use a bag.

Been a little busy so the build has been on the back burner a bit. Picked up my 100mm bbshd kit. It has about 11.9 mm of thread showing and the pedals are offset 20mm to the drive side. Contemplating how to get the fit right.

I think I have the mounting right. 6mm of spacers on drive side of 100mm unit.

Finally decided on brakes. Went with Magura Mt5e. Got a really good deal from 365 cycles

Did you go with "openers" or "closers"? Thinking about going with Maguras for an upgrade on my build but I'm not sure which ones to get.

Decided I wanted to conceal the wiring as much as possible. I thought I might like to have it in front of the down tube.

I grabbed one of those plastic on wall cable raceways and formed it roughly to the tube shape using a heat gun. Then I used double stick, silicone and epoxy to attach it to the tube. I then covered the bead with some carbon fiber wrap.

Now working on battery mounting. Also working out the extension for the speed sensor.

Got everything mounted up. Went out and found the strongest 5" hose clamp I could find. And a 2" around the frame.

6mm of bb spacers, stock chainring and I ended up with a pretty good chainline.

And here is the quasi finished product.

                        Introducing " Mr. Felix"

Brakes need re bleeding. Derailleur will need re adjusting as chain is too short. I am waiting for a replacement.

Tops out at about 32 on level ground without pedaling. Pedaling along I have seen 39. I am going to switch to low profile slicks and re test.
I am also still working on the battery mounting and I am going to shorten all of the cables once I get everything set.

It's an FMF alloy post and the seat is a carbon fiber generic from amazon. I searched for 2018's most comfortable mountain bike seat. It was one of the 5 supposed best. it is very small but surprisingly comfortable. I can supply links if desired.
