2500 watt?

Had my khs 500 several weeks now. Purchased the ludricris 2500 upgrade. Most the gauge reads is 1240. What's up with that? I did not see it implied or otherwise written any additional purchase was required to achieve the 2500 watts.. Love the bike, just want what I paid for.

The ludicrous controllers get the extra power by "tricking" the controller into reading half the actual battery current so the firmware limits are now twice as great
