Programming Bafang m620 Ultra- will not connect (bandrate just cycles)

Have a Bafang M620 on the Sondors Cruiser and need to reprogram for smooth operation. When trying to connect the software, the "bandrate" will not lock in at 9600 it just cycles. Tried everything even with my IT person. Anyone know a fix? Cable is the Bafang cable, and it appears to connect on the older software that doesn't have the torque setting.

my ultra is doing the same thing, when i hook up the luna program cable. did you get a answer to the problem?
