My new LUNA X2 M600 with Ludi arrived a few days ago. After my first ride, it started showing "Error 25" on the display. Now, the PAS is not working at all and the display will shut off on it's own. It's a beautiful bike but it isn't working. Any ideas or help is appreciated. I really want this bike to work properly! I've uploaded the new firmware using the app but no change. Throttle was working fine. even though the PAS was not working. But now even the throttle doesn't work.

This should fix your issue, if it doesn't you will need to pull engine and ship it back. Also, be sure to check when the battery is plugged in that the Yellow PLUG is reading what the battery should be putting out. Make sure the battery is ok & the wiring harness to the yellow plug is good
Here is LUnas reply to me and I followed it and fixed my issues " Hi
Sorry to hear about the issue, well I did read the whole email chain and it does appear to be controller problem, but it could be the main harness too, but the fact that the bike had a weird smell and that the error code would not go away (would take a long time to reset) then it's pointing toward the controller or the inner wiring.
But lets rule out the battery by trying the charger bypass, just plug in the charge on the bike charger port and try to power the display.. if it's a battery issue the display will power up as the power source will be the charger.
If it's still dead then you would have to check the connectors again, make sure to inspect the left motor connection.. even if you already did it. They are hard to push in and we recommend you to take a look here and and to follow the procedure. Every week I get a case with a dead x2 and the person did check all connections.... but after asking again turns out it was just not plugged in fully! See step 1 and 3 : https://electricbike.com/forum/forum...413#post134413
So once that is done the next step will be to remove the motor and to send it back a long with the display so we can run some tests, I can't send you a new motor up front as I have zero new motor, only refurbished one at the moment but I can make sure we fix it in priority. And I can send you a pre-paid shipping label! Sending a new controller is also not possible because it's easy to damage it when installing a new one.. and it wont help if the issue is in the inner wiring or the torque sensor.
Speaking of torque sensor, getting a random E25 for a fraction of a second is fine, it's not a symptom of a bad sensor, it happens on all V2 controllers, usually at power ups. we're working on it and hope to fix that on the upcoming firmware release.

Below I took photos for you to help you find your issue. Wishing you a quick fix.
I had the Problem when I got mine where Error 30 would flash on and off, & then once I saw Error code 25. I removed all covers on the engine, and checked all the wires plugged into the side of the Engine, Two were Loose, & once I plugged them in properly. The Error Code Cleared and I haven't had a problem since. I believe they are rushing through their QC before shipping out. There is a chance that the two sensors are swapped, but the torque & temp sensor is on the inside of the engine. It's more likely your having an ERROR Code 30 being overshadowed by Error Code 25. I Spoke with LUNA 3 days ago, & they said after you've checked all the wires are properly plugged into the side of the engine, the bike should turn on. You may see the ERROR code 25 flash as it turns on but will instantly clear, Also Make sure you run the most recent FIRMWARE update, LUNA is working on getting the ERROR 25 code to not show up during powering on of the X2 Ludicrous. My bike arrived with the Same issues and finally wouldn't even turn on. But I ran through those wires and they were not properly plugged into the side of the engine now the bike is running flawlessly since I checked the wires. I plan once I am over the food poisoning I will take a 13mile ride. If I don't see the Error code 30, or error code 25 while riding then the issue is fixed. The worst-case scenario if checking those wires doesn't fix the issue LUNA will ask you to pull the Engine and ship it back, & they will pay for first-class shipping. There are 3 points of failure that can cause ERROR 30, plugs aren't seated properly, Engine Harness is bad, or display is bad. As for error code 25, only Torque/Temp Sensor being swapped can cause it. But if Error code 25 clears immediately after turning on then it's just a firmware issue that LUNA says will be fixed by the next FIRMWARE release. I had both errors but now the error 25 doesn't even show up when I power it on. So I'd check every single connection to make sure everything is seated properly. Also make sure NO pins are bent on the plugs going into the back of the display, to the Speed sensor, & to the throttle.
These are the wires that were not properly seated on mine. I unplugged checked pins then replugged NO more issues powers on. Still ERROR code 25 flashes when I first turn it on, but LUNA said it is nothing to worry about unless it stays on. Run through these plugs first & if that doesn't fix your Error and Error CODE 25 remains on your display, You will need to contact luna, I don't believe they want us doing internal work though it's super easy to replace the torque Sensor & work on the m600. I wouldn't do it myself even though I installed a toque sensor on my Dads M600 FLX F5 trail. It's really easy.
I hope this fixes your issues and is of some help.
I finally have my X2 Ludicrous in Medium perfect cockpit, I left the 152mm Crank arms and added PNW rainer 3 w/ travel adjust 170mm DROPPER POST to get my leg straight & full strokes. was super easy to fix, I also extended my stem to 70mm with +6 degree. Also added OneUp Oil Slick pedals, & ERGON GA3 Really Red Grips. More updates to come.

Thanks for the response. My stock controller never displayed an error but still no PAS. It just stopped after a few months with the bike. Throttle always worked. I upgraded to the v2 controller after Luna said the stock controller was bad. I get a failure 30 about half the time when I turn the bike on now. I turn the frame power on then power from controller wait for 5 seconds to see if I get Error 30. If I do then I go back through the power on sequence until it is working.
