BBSHD weird sound when slowing down. The chainring is still spinning slowly.

Hi, the bbshd engine is doing this problem. When i start braking, the engine keeps turning slowly and this sound comes out.
The problem is that when I brake, the engine is still running slowly, I only cancel it when I come to a complete stop with the engine.

It could be a faulty control unit, but why is it making this sound?
    Thank you

If I shut down the system, it runs normally.
The thing is, if I go slow and don't pedal, sometimes the chainring keeps spinning. :)

I was hoping it would still make the noise which would mean there are issues with the regular bike parts but it sounds like its something in the motor. I don't have any ideas what would be causing it. Maybe get a programming cable and see if there is something odd in the program. If not maybe flash different firmware onto it? It doesn't seem like it would be a hardware issue.

With All bbs02 I would take off the Sprocket and plastic cover (7 screws) and pack the gear with red grease.
Do you have brake cutouts installed? That will cut out your power, but most people don't have them.
I would check all your connections & make sure they are all plugged in tight.
