    Error 007

I bought an upgrade kit for my ebike from alibaba. It's a 60 volt 1500 watt brushless. Came with motor, display, brakes, rotors, and controller. Everything was labeled as to what plugs in to what. Connected the learning cable as per the instructions. First it spun backwards but corrected itself and spun forward. At this point I connected the brakes and pas per instructions. Turned power back on twisted the throttle and got error 007 but every thing runs. The error will even pop up if I squeeze the brake levers. I even tried it with a 48 volt battery with the same results. Both batteries I have are 20 ah. Completely stumped. Thinking about getting a new controller but don't know exactly what to get and I can't afford to get an expensive one. Help please

    Hi kool361,
And welcome to the forum! :-)

What does your system manual say what a 007 error is?
May we have a link to your upgrade kit?
Did you get it to run by the throttle with the PAS sensor and brake switches disconnected?

    Regards,
    T.C.

so you say this happened when you plugged in the brakes ? Then I assume You have some sort of motor cutoff switch with the brakes and that would be my 1st suspect. Disconnect the brake cut off switch and see if the error goes away

also seems to me that one would need a 60v battery to run a 60 v hub motor
Working...
