Bafang BBS02 error code 12

Hello
I have a problem with my Bafang 750W, showing error code 12. In sine forum I read the only real solution is to change the controller. Is that true?

Some weeks ago I had the same problem. I sprayed all electric connectors with 5-56 and eventually it worked again . First only with thumb throttle, finally even PAS .
Now I tried the same, I even cleaned the connectors inside the controller but nothing works except of the display.

Anybody who has a solution of my problem ? Could it be some other problem than the controller ? (For example the engine?)
The road conditions the last weeks were wet and salty here in Stockholm... Please help me with advices!

Err 12 = `current sensor abnormality

Current error means something like you've popped a mosfet. You can test with a meter when you take the controller off. Check the resistance between each phase wire and the battery positive, then between each and the negative. Each group of 3 should be similar to each other and somewhere in the range 10k to 14k.

Thanks for the reply. Is there anything else I can do but to replace the controller with a new one?

I have The exact same problem. Biked up The Street One week ago. Everything ok. Left the bike I my garage. Went to it today. Error code 12. No power. No pas and no throttle. My garage is very moiste. Something insisting moisture.... any have experience with throttle corrosion etc. Fiddled with throttle and sometimes it went. To me this does not indicate damages mosfets..
