    Ludicrous 3 problem

I have a 2017 Ludicrous 3. I changed the front sprocket from 42 teeth to 46 teeth recently. I added two shims to improve the chain line. When I’m in top gear it seems like the chain wants to jump. It did this before the front sprocket change also. If I drop two gears it doesn’t do it. It only happens when above 21-22 mph. Any ideas?

    Thanks in Advance

Hi Alan, and welcome to the forum..

Have you checked for chain stretch? There is a little tool available to do this.
2nd build, 2018 Crust Scapegoat, BBS02 or BBSHD, Rohloff IGH
      3rd build, 2018 Crust Evasion step-thru, BBS02, Nexus INTER-3 IGH
4th build, 2016 Salsa Marrakesh flatbar frameset, BBSHD, Alfine 8 IGH
5th build, 2019 Crust Evasion, BBSHD, Alfine 8 IGH
      Other, Electronic throttle lock

I’ve checked the chain stretch several times and it’s well within the limits. I’m wondering if the derailleur might be out of adjustment.

        Thanks

You could always rework the rear cassette for better chainline.

When you say rework the rear cassette. What do you mean?

            TIA
