    Half e-bike for offroad?

There's been very active discussion about these on another board I'm on... maybe if I were 10-20yrs younger and had both legs... definitely teasing me

That's interesting. I have not seen anything like that myself. I do see a decent number of what I think are called 'one wheels' where the fairly wide wheel is in the center of the board and your feet sit on pads in front and rear of the wheel sort of skate board style.

Have seen some pretty amazing 'face plant' wrecks on youtube, so I have to say 'no thanks!' :)

Wow!...never saw anything like that. That rig better be rolling on smooth terrain, because the first actual obstacle with just a little height is going to stop or deflect that small wheel big time.

Those guys are doing all kinds of jumps and stuff - I'll find you some other videos... even in that one they are doing a bunch of off-road

They get strapped to the legs so when you get to a bump you jump up over or on to it... there are guys doing cross country treks on them that include a lot of dirt and they have off-road tires... pretty loco stuff

To me those look like they are large enough diameter that they should be able to roll over all reasonable stuff. What are they like a 16" 20"? The 'one wheels' I don't think are even as big as a golf cart tire. And I see people riding those in the mountain bike parks doing rock hill climbs and everything else the parks have to offer.

AZ, I would have thought the device to be too heavy to pick up and lift with their legs very easily. Very interesting.

73Eldo, 16"...20"...c'mon man...we're in the world where 26" MTB wheels are tiny, useless, caster sized wheels in the realm of the 29'er...LOL!
