EMTB Exploration with the X1 | Sloan Canyon Las Vegas NV @ Sunset

The Sloan Canyon trails (AKA McCullough Mountain Range) are located about 30 minutes from the Las Vegas strip in Henderson Nevada. Sloan Canyon sits on the southeast border of the Las Vegas Valley; you’ll recognize it by its black volcanic mountains and ridges that you can see from the southern end of Las Vegas. It’s a mountain biker’s paradise, with terrain so varied it includes a dry lakebed and volcanic peaks that rise above 5,000 feet in elevation. It is best known for its Sloan Canyon Archaeological District (Petroglyph Canyon). In fact, the National Conservation Area contains an entire wilderness—the 14,763-acre North McCullough Wilderness—where you’ll find lava flows, ash falls, and shiny, sharp obsidian.

At the time of this video, there are over 70 trails listed in the McCullough Range. For episode 1 of this video series I road 11 trails located near the Anthem Hills Park trailhead area in Henderson. These trails include: (https://www.trailforks.com/region/mc...trails/trails/)
